Lloyd M. Heslep, 85, passed away Friday February 21, 2020 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.
Lloyd was born September 19, 1934 in Elliston, Virginia. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Air Force and served his country proudly during the Vietnam Era. While in the Air Force and stationed in Great Falls, Montana, he met and married the love of his life, Noell (Bleecker) Heslep. They were together for 50 beautiful years.
Lloyd was well-respected in his community, dearly loved by his family and will be missed. After 13 years since her passing, he is joining with the love of his life, Noell.
Upon returning to Elliston, he had the privilege of joining the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department and retired after 27 years of service.
Left to cherish his memory are his three children, Wendy (Heslep) Vadney and her husband Steve of Rapid City, South Dakota, Gary Heslep of Galax, Virginia, and Kathy (Heslep) Harris of Elliston, Virginia. Along with eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and many dear friends.
