Linda Harman Eanes, 77, of Salem, VA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. She was born on Saturday, August 7, 1943, to the late Raymond Lewis Harman and Beulah Keith Harman in Floyd, VA. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Eldridge “Tubby” Eanes, Jr.; longtime friend, John Deweese; and a brother, Edward Harman.
She is survived by her sister, Patsy Harman East; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Rose Eanes; Aunt Corine Sowers; Uncle Wayne Keith; special niece and nephew Leigh Ann Phillips and Brian East; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021 at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem, VA, with Pastor Ben Lockhart officiating. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem.
Friends may visit with the family from 1 p.m. until the service hour.
Those attending services for Mrs. Eanes are asked to wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
