Leaetta P. Lewis, 83, of Blue Ridge, VA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, surrounded by her kids. She was born on Monday, July 19, 1937, to the late Ervie Mayne and Pearl Owens. Leaetta attended the Rowlesburg Baptist Church. She loved to be with her family. She was a huge Pittsburg Steelers fan and enjoyed watching the Steelers play football and watching wrestling on tv. One of her favorite pastimes was crocheting blankets. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Lewis, Sr.; paternal grandparents, David and Mary Mayne; siblings, Ruby Mayne, Virginia Alice Shaffer, Muriel Lavada Ely, Evelyn Florence Bise, Earl Junior Mayne, and Arthur LeRoy Mayne.
She is survived by her children, Phillip Lewis, Jr., Lisa Burns, Clark Lewis, and Becky Moyers; grandchildren, Clark Lewis, Jr., Kristen Lewis, Jeremy Lewis, Samantha Lewis, Carson Lewis, Earl Lewis, Leticia Harvey, Jonathan Sphar, Keithy Sphar, Jason Lewis, and Melanie Lewis; great-grandchildren, Samantha Lewis, Nicholas Anthony, Wyatt Anthony, Hadley Harvey, and Raelynn Harvey; brothers, Hugh Clinton Mayne, and wife, Ellen, and Bud Mayne and wife Judy Mayne.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, April 3, 2021at the Rowlesburg Baptist Church, 37 South Buffalo Street, Rowlesburg, WV 26425.
