Obituary for Larry William Jarels
Larry W. Jarels, 71, of Salem, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022. Born on May 14, 1951. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Sheree Lynn Jarels.
Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army and worked for many years at the VA Medical Center. Above all, he adored his family and friends and was a doting father and grandfather.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Colleen Frances Rutledge and her husband, Dustin Rutledge, of Salem; grandchildren, Claire, Tyler & wife Alex and Derek & wife Alex Rutledge; great-grandchildren, Emmitt and Iris Rutledge; sister, Michelle Jarels, of Roanoke; and nieces, Amanda Collier and Sheree Thompson. Family members Marsha, Troy with fiancé Mary Landis, Kaylan Batey. and Morgan Batey; Donald, Krystal, Kyndall & Autumn Eckles. Charlene & Bill of NC. His best friend Rocky West.
