We sometimes never know who has been a positive influence in our life. Even for just a "moment". I can truly say that in my working relationship with Irene, she was always encouraging and supportive. I had the honor of working with Irene at the Salem Mick-or-Mack on Main Street. Always putting customer service first and listening to what each one had to say. Mick-or-Mack was more like a family than the big box stores like Walmart. I was one of several bag boys and I can tell you that from personal experience, no sooner did I have one customer bagged and out the door, Irene had the next customer being checked out. She was always calm and efficient. Irene was always ready to help, weather on a cash register or in the office. She could do it all. I know her family will miss her. She touched my life and I hope and pray that you all remember the good times and remember her with a smile.

Susan, my prayers and thoughts are with you, Jeff, and the entire family during this time. I fully understand the loss of a parent. You never really get over it. But take comfort that they are with God, and you will go on with your lives. We love you guys!

We are saddened by the passing of Irene. She was always such a sweet and friendly lady, and we enjoyed seeing her at church, out walking, and at restaurants. We remember your family when there were 2 little girls following their Mom and Dad to church. She was such a kind and loving wife to your Dad, and was a true friend to Al Salvas in later years. She will be missed. Please know that your family is in our prayers. May God give you peace.
In Christian love,
Perry and Sylvia Bailey

Debbie and Sue prayers for you and your family and much love. Irene was one of the first people I got to know when I first went to work with Mick-or-Mack and always loved her. She loved you girls more than the stars in the sky and I'm sure you knew that. Prayers and hugs.
