Freda M. King, 95, of Salem, VA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. She was born on Saturday, May 9, 1925, to the late Dillard and Bessie Goad Graves. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, who loved her family dearly. Freda was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Salem, VA, and was noted for being a great cook! One of her favorite hobbies was camping with her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Charles G. King; and her brother, Clinton Graves and his wife, Ida Mae.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte King White, and husband, Fred; and son, Charles King, and wife, Kathy; granddaughter, Misty Kassebaum and husband, Brendan; great-grandchildren, Bryce and Reece Kassebaum.
A private interment will take place at Sherwood Memorial Park with her family.
