Elfriede J. Smith, 89, of Salem, Va. passed away on
Monday, October 26, 2020, at her home surrounded by her family.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2020, at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home
Chapel in Salem, Va., with Father Ken Shuping officiating. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem with family and friends serving as pallbearers. For those who are unable to attend the service in-person, a live stream broadcast will
