Barbara Watson, age 74, of Roanoke VA, formerly of Danville, Hillsville, Galax, and Meadows of Dan, VA, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. She was born on Tuesday, October 8, 1946 to the late Grant and Robina Watson. Barbara found enjoyment in painting and traveling with her sister. Her family was most important to her as she lived to spend time with her grandchildren most of all! She also loved spending time with her little dog, Hope. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, James Watson, and Walter Watson.
She is survived by her son, Patrick Cockram and wife, Jennifer Salem, VA; daughter, Dana Cockram and Al Turner of Onley, VA; grandchildren, Hartley and Addi Cockram of Salem, VA., Eric Melcher, and Joseph Turner both of Onley, VA; sisters, Helen Marrero and Johannes van Hijum, and Jeanette Wood and husband, Maynard; brothers, Eddi Watson and, John Watson.
