Condolences

Condolence From: David & Deborah Middleton
Condolence: Alex, having been gone from Salem for over 40 years we never had the privilege of knowing your son Joshua. But from all the postings on Face Book and the condolences written here it is obvious you and Lisa did a fantastic job in raising him to be a really fine person. Nothing can ever heal the pain of losing a loved one, but it's the memories, yours and all those that knew him, these are what keep you going. Deborah and I pray that you find comfort in those memories and in the love and fellowship of your Salem Presbyterian Church family. With God there are no endings....only endless beginnings.

Condolence From: Walter R Robinson
Condolence: Teaching brings many rewards, but none as great and memorable as getting to know students like Josh. His sense of humor -- his always present smile -- his stopping by just to say "Hi."

All of the wonderful qualities were a daily part of Josh.

Peace and Love for his family.

Mr. Robinson

Condolence: Alex:
The few times that I met Josh I was struck with what a sweet, easy-going fellow he was, like you.
He is surely now with his mom, who was also so loved and respected here in Salem.
My thoughts and prayers are very much with you at this difficult time.

Condolence: My heart is still aching over this world's loss of such a sweet and loving person. It's been so long since I've seen you, but some people's kindness and spirit always stay with us. They help form us as we grow. You've left a mark on so many and will never be forgotten. Sending love and prayers to all that loved you! You are there angel, there calming touch watching over them.

Condolence: Alex, April (and children), Heather, and all relatives.
Carrie, Ryan, Kris and I feel blessed knowing and are cherishing our time with Josh. Our children certainly loved playing with Josh as kids and going to school together. Alex, you and Lisa did a superb job of raising Josh and Heather to be such kind, fun, well-mannered, upstanding children, then adults. We have never ever heard of anyone who had a cross or disparaging word to say about Josh, and his smiles, warmth and hugs are indeed memorable. We rejoice in knowing he has joined his Mom and other relatives in God's kingdom. With much love to each of you, our wonderful cousins!
