Peter Andrew Bono, 81 of Catawba, VA and formerly of Detroit, MI passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2008. He was born in Detroit on February 19, 1927 a son of the late Peter Andrew Bono, Sr. and Marie Frances Bono. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Marie Sheppard Bono; a son, Kenneth Peter Bono; and two brothers, Jack and Frank Bono. Mr. Bono was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church, was a US Coast Guard Veteran and was a retired master plumber having worked for Plumbers Union Local 98 in Detroit. His surviving family includes his son and daughter-in-law, Benny A. and Deborah Caldwell Bono; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
