Norma Robertson Davis, 86, of Salem, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2008. She was a member of the Della Bradley Sunday School Class at First United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, Chester and Maude Robertson; and husband, John Davis. Her surviving family includes her daughters, Sharon Davis Alley and husband, Ron, of South Carolina and Ruth E. Waltz and husband, Richard, of North Carolina; sisters, Claire Jones and husband, Edward, of Virginia, Shirley Asby of North Carolina, Eileen Smith and husband, Frank, of Virginia, and Mary Frances Equi and husband, Robert, of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Lisa Alley, Michelle Talley, Rob Waltz, and Marcie Kelly; and great-grandchildren, Kailey Smith, Mitchell Smith, Brandon Kelly, Jacob Kelly, Jonathon Talley, Aiden Talley, and Elijah Talley. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 2, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem. There will be no public visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County at 5003 Hospice Lane in Kannapolis, NC 28081.
