Obituary for Ginger Harger (Lawrence)
Ginger Lawrence Harger, 54, was born on Tuesday, June 2, 1964. The Lord saw that she was getting weary, and called her home after a lengthy battle with Diabetes on Monday, November 12, 2018. Ginger gave her heart to the Lord, and as an example of God’s love she was blessed with a son. She was a wonderful and loving mother to Draven. She is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Roman and Mary Lou Lawrence; and maternal grandfather, William Fink; father, Leland Lawrence.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Draven A. Harger; mother, Edith Peters and husband, Don; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Fink; half siblings, Dawn Ward and husband, Charles, and Todd Peters; special friend, Bobby Thomas; numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem, Va. with Pastors Danny Holdren and Charles “Chuck” Ward officiating. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem, Va.
Friends may visit with the family from 1 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
