Condolence: Mrs. Hammond was my 5th grade teacher. I have many fond memories of how wonderful a teacher she was. I went in sick on my birthday just so I could get my balloon tied to a pack of sugar-free gum. I also still know the Preamble to the Constitution word for word from having to recite it in class.

Condolence: My condolences to your family. Mrs. Hammond was my 5th grade teacher at Stewartsville Elementary. She was an amazing teacher, kind and compassionate, all while maintaining a well run classroom. Her example was part of my decision to be a teacher in Bedford County for the past 10 years.
