I met Ann Brown when we were n the 9th grade at Andrew Lewis HS in Salem, VA We had a typing class together. Later we became really good friends, and though there were lapses in staying in contact , we always kept in touch with letters when she lived in Ohio, Oregon and Michigan. Ann was the sweetest, kindest person I ever met. I am sure that she never did or said a wrong thing in her life. No matter what was happening around her, she was cheerful, and found the good in every situation. Both Ann and I were what most people call genealogy "nuts". We loved looking for our ancestors and putting the pieces of their lives together. I will miss talking to Ann, going to lunch with her and our school friends Betty and Joan.
I know that Ann is now one of God's angels and I am blessed to have had her as a long time friend. I will miss her everyday until one day we will meet again.
Love to you Ann, my dearest of friends
Pat
