Condolence: I miss Nini so much she was the best grandma ever! She was such a caring person and she always took others before her self no matter what. She also was th only person who knew how to use a flip phone like a pro. I miss her so much everyday I think about how lucky I was to Know her❤️

Condolence: Mr. Jewell, I was so shocked and saddened to see Mrs. Jewell's obituary in the paper! Please know that you and Matt, Beth and Susan are in my thoughts and prayers. I often think of you guys ... 35-plus years after dating your son in high school (hey, Matt!) ... and my memories are always good ones! I remember Mrs. Jewell's wit and dry sense of humor, and am so thankful for being included in your family during those years. But my fondest memory of Ann is of the afternoon when she "kidnapped" me from in front of my "shop" (very brief occupancy) on College Avenue ... some time in the late Spring of 2011 ... and invited me into an adult Woman-to-Woman chat in the parking lot behind the Presbyterian Church. She re-assured me that my leap into the pool of "you're gonna be served with divorce papers" was probably going to be painful, but worth it. (My own mother didn't offer the same advice). And she shared with me how much she adores her grandchildren, and how proud she was of her daughters and son. And we talked about a lot of other things ... one woman to another woman. To most, this would be an ordinary exchange of chit-chat. To me, it meant the world! And that is how I remember Ann Jewell. She was an extraordinary, STRONG woman!
