Condolence: One of my fondest memories of Aunt Joan was when she "tricked" me into trying new food!! It was one of my mom and I birthday celabratory lunches and she decided we would go out for Chinese food! I think it was my 12th Bday and the thought of that did not excite me! Because I was not a fan of veggies!! She made it such a fun experience, had the waitress make it special for my bday and before you know it, I was eating Chinese food with onions and peppers and broccoli!!! She and I had a special bond. She really loved me and pushed me to be a stronger person. She would be proud of my cauliflower version of fried rice!! Love and miss you Aunt Joan I know you and mom (Jane) and Nana are having coffee laughing. God Bless your family

Condolence: I was saddened to learn of Joan's passing. I knew her all my life, first as a visitor to her grandfather and than as a neighbor and my friend Jane's sister. I remember her children when they used to come to Taunton for their annual visit. Joan was a force unto herself. My sincere sympathy.
