Roger Elemer “Fudd” Butterworth, 55, of Roanoke, VA passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017. He was born May 7, 1962 in Salem, VA a son of the late Bobby Elemer and Lila Collins Butterworth. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Lee Butterworth.
He is survived by his son, Chris Geibner; granddaughter, McKenzie Geibner; sister, Linda Harrell and husband, James; brother, George Randy Butterworth and his companion, Vicky Patram; two nieces, Tracy Strickland and husband, Jim and Amy Harrell and her companion, Kenny Fox; and his ex-wife, Joni Butterworth.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Monday, July 10, 2017 from the chapel of John M. Oakey and Son, Salem. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Online condolences to the family may be made at www.johnmoakey.com.
