Kimber Grace Brads, of Salem, grew her angel wings much too soon on Friday, June 30, 2017. Kimber was born on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. During her short journey here with her loving family, Kimber loved being held close to mommy and daddy, sung to by sissy, and cuddled by bubby. She was preceded in death by her great- grandmother, Doris “Nana” Byer.
Left to cherish her sweet memories are her parents, Vincent and Melissa Brads; big brother, Ashton Brads; big sister, M’Kenize Brads; maternal grandparents, Ernest “Pops” and Deborah “Nan” Downey; paternal grandparents, Timothy Brads, Destonie “Glamma” and Shannon “Pappy” Brown; great-grandfather, Vincent “Papa” Brads; great-grandmothers, Jean “Granny” Brads and Sherry “Granny” Bartlett; cousin, Ellie Guill; aunt, Renea Guill; uncles, Shane Guill and Cody Brads; great-uncle, Danny Byer; and numerous friends and family.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Alls officiating. A committal will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
