Carol Lou Cooper (Schneider)
Carol Lou Cooper, 71, of Salem and formerly of San Jose, Calif., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 28, 2016 after a lengthy illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Hope Schneider; and brother, Kenneth Schneider.

Her surviving family includes her husband of 40 years, Jim Cooper; children, René Cassell and William Taylor and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Clint Cassell and wife, Emily, and Briar Cassell; and great-grandchildren, Clayton, Dalton, Ethan, and Isabella.

In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be sent to the Fort Lewis Rescue Squad at 3915 West Main Street in Salem, Va. 24153. The family is grateful for all they have done. Online condolences may be expressed at www.johnmoakey.com.
