Condolences

Condolence From: Michael, Debbie, and Bryan Curry
Condolence: Bud was such a valuable part of our lives, as long as we can remember. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Fourth of July, we all were family. When thinking about him, words come to mind, like: fun, American Patriot, faithful husband, loving father, world's best grandfather, and believer in Jesus.

Although he felt strongly about a lot of issues, Bud was intensely passionate about the people in his life. You cannot even think about Bud, without thinking about Joyce. Together, they have been a good role model about what a healthy marriage should be. Like the famous theologian, Forrest Gump, once said: "They go together like peas and carrots." And what a proud fatherly love he had for Bobby, Ronnie, Sandra, and Kelly. Plus, it was amazing how he became attached to his daughters-in-law and sons-in-law. Yet, nothing made him glow like those glorious grandchildren.

The only fault, glaring weakness, that Carson had in his life was that it is thought that he was a closet Redskins fan.

Bud, we are glad that you were born, and thrilled that you are born again, right now experiencing all the rewards of Heaven that God promised in His holy word.

His blessings always.

Condolence From: Mary B. Sutphin
Condolence: "Bud" was very special to our family and he and my husband had a wonderful time "picking" on each other over the years until Ken passed away in 1998. But they had nicknames for each other, Ken called Bud - "Bud-nam" and Bud called him "Indian". Bud had such an outgoing personality and was always pleasant to be around. My heart aches especially for Joyce, my son, Tim, Kelly, Carson and Chandler, and all the rest of Bud's children and their families. Praying for all to have peace and comfort at this time. Love, Mom Sut (Mimi)
