Condolence: The Bible gives us the wonderful prospect of seeing our loved ones again on a paradise earth. At Psalms 37:9-11 & 29, it gives us the hope of living forever on a paradise earth. It will be a time when Isaiah 33:24 will take place and “no resident will say ‘I am sick.” On this paradise earth, Rev. 21:4 promises us that “death will be no more.” I know this may not relieve your deep grief at this time, but please take faith in God’s promises.

I am so sorry for your loss. Every time I think of you I think of the last day we shared with you and our lunch together. The smile on your face and the laughter in your voice. Now I can only imagine the grief and sadnees you must feel. You are though of and I know there is not much I can say to make you feel better about things other than you are thought of and you are in our hearts here. How quick things can change in life, but we have to go on and take it day by day and put our trust in The Lord that things will get better. I pray this happens for you. Just remember that you are thought about very, very much.

Condolence: Jim was a great man who loved the Lord and loved life. My thoughts and prayers go out to Donna and Jarrod and the rest of the family at this very difficult time. He and I had so many common interests from WVU and Virginia Tech football to politics,faith and the John F. Kennedy era. I know he helped so many families at Riverview Nursing Home and he will be missed by workers,families and staff alike there. I will miss him as well.
