Obituary for Clare "Doc" Zaronsky

Clare “Doc” Zaronsky, 67, of Shawsville, passed away on January 18, 2013. He was born on April 2, 1945 in Mt. Pleasant, PA, son of the late Clare and Dora Belle Zaronsky.
Clare was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a lifetime member of Shawsville Volunteer Rescue Squad. He enjoyed collecting Santas, Eeyore figurines, light houses, stamps, and Homies figurines. Clare was loved by many friends and family, and will be greatly missed.
Clare is survived by his wife of 48 years, Leslie Zaronsky; son, Mike and his wife Sonya; daughters, Denise and her husband Mike, and Terri and her husband Johnnie; a sister, Jane Murphy; grandchildren, Ashley and Matthew; special friend, Greg Corell; and special pet dog, Katiyah.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 3-5 pm at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Montgomery County Humane Society. An online guestbook is available for family and friends at www.johnmoakey.com.
