In Loving Memory of

Edward F. Jamie

Edward F. Jamie, 86, of Roanoke passed away Friday, December 15, 2006.  He was born June 16, 1920 in Chicago , IL a son of the late David and Jane Baxter Jamie.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Helen K. Jamie; two brothers, Stewart and Robert Jamie; and a sister, Grace Appl.  Mr. Jamie was a retired supervisor from Eaton Corporation, a US Navy Veteran having served during WWII, and was a member of the American Legion.   He was very special and loved by all who knew him and will be missed.  He is survived by a son, David Jamie; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Daniel Brzykcy; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and special friends, Terri Dillard, Barbara Sifford and Linda Lopez.  A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2006 at the Virginia Veterans Care Center , Roanoke with Pastor Bob West officiating.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.   In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to a charity of choice.   John M. Oakey and Son, Salem is in charge of the arrangements
