In Loving Memory of

Lorriane Williams Krull, 85, of Roanoke and formerly of Salem died Sunday, October 30, 2005 at Our Lady of the Valley Nursing Home, Roanoke.  She was born June 1, 1920 in Salem , VA a daughter of the late Charles Emmett Williams, Sr. and Dorothy Deyerle Williams.  She was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles E. Williams, Jr. and two sisters, Dorothy W. Tulley and Phyllis W. Smith.  She was a former executive secretary to the late Judge Edwards of Roanoke and later retired from the Black Lung Division of the Social Security Administration.  Prior to her severe physical disablement, she was an active and devoted member of First Baptist Church , Roanoke , where she performed many volunteer duties in serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Her surviving family includes a sister, Frances Williams Thompson of California , a brother, B. Lynwood Williams and wife, Verda, of Salem , and a number of nieces and one nephewA graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 1, 2005 from Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem with Rev. Dawson Bailey of First Baptist Church officiating.  There will be no visitation.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church , Roanoke or to the City Rescue Mission of Roanoke .  John M. Oakey & Son, Salem is in charge of the arrangements.  Her close friends express strong appreciation to the staff of Our Lady of the Valley and a great number of individual personal care attendants who provided excellent care for Lorraine Krull for the last ten and one-half years.
