Kurt John Cooper, 39, of Salem , passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2005 . He loved playing golf and pool and will be missed by his many friends and family members. His surviving family includes his parents, James J. and Virginia H. Cooper; sons, Cory Ross Cooper, Danny Daly, Jessee Miller, and Tate McCraken; brothers, Darrell L. Cooper and wife, Suzan, Kevin L. Cooper, and Troy A. Cooper; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem . A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem Rev. Roy Rogers officiating.
