In Loving Memory of

Crotts, George Edward “Nick”, 76, of Salem , passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2005.  He owned and operated Crotts Garage for over 50 years and was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U S Army 1st Calvary .  He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.  Surviving family include his wife, Mary C. Crotts; children and their spouses, W. G. and Lisa Crotts of Salem, Karen and Gary Myers of Roanoke Co., Dale Crotts of Roanoke Co., J. Steven Crotts and Candy Crotts of Salem, G. Gayle and Charles Myers of Dallas, TX., Sue and Rome Lovell of Cloverdale; grandchildren, Brandi Crotts, Ashley Crotts, Sara Myers, Perry Myers, Allison Crotts, Nicholas Crotts, Brent Crotts, Christie Myers, Christopher Myers, Melissa Williamson, Matthew Crotts, Adam and Amy McGarell, Angela and Steven Kardos; great grandchildren, Madison Crotts and Tyler Williamson.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2005 at 10:00 am at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Salem with Rev. Chris Kingery officiating.  Inerment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park .  The family will receive friends on Friday, October 14, 2005 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.  The family would like to thank Dr. Temeles, Dr. Donald Siebert and the nurses on the 8th and 10th floors at Roanoke Memorial Hospital for their care of Mr.Crotts.  Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.  On-line condolences may be made at www.johnmoakey.com
